Spectra Trust Saldanha Endurance Ride hosted by Simon’s Town Endurance Club

On Saturday, 7 February 2015, Miss. Brigitte Stark who is a business consultant for Chint Power Solutions Africa (Pty)Ltd and her horse, Marok Serpentis, competed in the 40km Spectra Trust Saldanha Endurance Ride hosted by Simon’s Town Endurance Club . Mr Gert Linde, the CEO of CPSA (Pty) Ltd sponsored Brigitte Stark and her horse with clothing, gear and the ‘cannot miss’ logo of CHINT POWER, as seen whilst competing in the race. The 40km ride started at 06h30 in the military base at Saldanha. Also riding with Brigitte Stark was Julie van Breda who represented the SA team in 2012.

From there the riders had a beautiful scenic ride all along the coast. They had the opportunity to ride on and off the beach for about 10km, which is for many horse and rider a dream come true. The next 10km brought them more inland and the turn-around point was in a very popular and well known West-coast “dorpie”, Jacobsbaai. Brigitte was awaited by her supporting crew which included Mr. Gert Linde.

After the horses had water and a cold shower, horse and rider were ready for the last 20km that was through typical West-coast landscape. Once again, Mr Gert Linde and the supporting Chint Power Solutions Africa crew awaited Brigitte and Serpentis at the finish line who successfully completed the 40km ride. The seal of success was set when Serpentis passed the compulsory vet check at the end of the race, thereby completing the race successfully.
